The Indonesian International Education Foundation (IIEF) is a not-for-profit organization specializing in scholarship management and international education through the management of numerous scholarship programs sponsored by various international donors and funding organizations, and the administration of international assessments and professional certifications. IIEF (http://www.iief.or.id) is a local partner organization of the Institute of International Education (IIE) (http://www.iie.org), one of the world’s largest and most experienced international education and professional exchange organizations, based in New York.
Position Summary
The post holder will be responsible for the Partnerships and Program Development Subdivision to engage more partners and create more programs to generate more income for the company. Under the supervision of the Partnership and Program Development Manager (PPDM), the Partnership and Programme Development Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that partnership and coordination between development agencies are effective and well established. The post holder also assures that successful development models and approaches are replicated across different ministries and institutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop partnership opportunities with educational organizations, the Government of Indonesia, overseas governments, and the private sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing partners.
- Develop proposals and work plans for new partnerships.
- Support PPDM in developing the proposal, workplan, and progress report for our client.
- Coordinate the implementation of scholarship and education programs with partners.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships and programs.
- Support PPDM in developing strategies to increase the impact of education programs and achieve IIEF’s objectives.
- Develop the framework as the basis for proposal development and monitor the progress of the program.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to analyze the impact of the program.

- Experience in education programs and partnership development, especially partnering with the IIEF program.
- Knowledge of education and development issues in Indonesia.

- Customer-service oriented, dedicated to increasing and enhancing opportunities in the education field
- Efficient performance in a team and independently, excellent communication and time management skills, and the ability to work in a tight schedule with pressing demands
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in Social Work, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or related field.
Experience:
- At least 7 years of relevant experience at the national or international level in the development areas such as poverty reduction and civil society/NGOs, in providing management advisory services, hands-on experience in design, monitoring, and evaluation of development projects.
- Experience in building partnerships with government agencies, civil society organizations, and the private sector.
- Experience in the use of computers and office software packages.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
