• GE Foundation Scholar - Leaders Program

The GE Foundation Scholar Leaders Program (GE-FSLP) in Indonesia is a unique program that provides financial support and skills development opportunities for accomplished first year undergraduate students from recognized institutions who are pursuing specific engineering or economics programs.

The GE Foundation Scholar – Leaders Program is a scholarship program sponsored by the GE Foundation which offers opportunity to Indonesian university students to receive a scholarship for finishing their undergraduate study. The award is a scholarship of $1,000 (USD) per year covering tuition fee, monthly living allowance, and thesis allowance for three years starting the third semester. This is not just a scholarship; the students may have an opportunity to developing their leadership potential, professionalism and human capacity.

The main objective of the program is to support qualified but needy undergraduate students through broadening access to education and facilitating learning and leadership skills.

Who Can Apply:

GE-FSLP is open for a second-year undergraduate students from five participating universities, including Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), University of Airlangga (UNAIR), University of Brawijaya (UB) in the fields of specific engineering and economics.

The requirements:

-     Undergraduate students from IPB, ITB, ITS, UNAIR, and UNIBRAW. Fields of study: Economics (Accounting, Economics and Development Studies), Engineering (Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering specialized in electric power engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering)

-     With GPA of at least 3.0 (0-4 scale) for semester 1 and 2

-     Involved in social and student activities

-     Have a good command of English

 How do Apply:

In order to apply, applicants should access and fill in the application form and submit it at and you must send the hard copy version including all supporting documents required to IIEF – Indonesian International Education Foundation, Menara Imperium Lt. 28 Suite C, Jl. H.R. Rasuna Said, Jakarta 12980.

Documents Required:

The applicants have to attach these documents in the application form:

-          Completed and signed GE-FSLP application form

-          One (1) color photograph 4 x 6 cm – affix it in the provided box

-          One (1) copy of valid Identification Card (KTP)

-          An official letter of enrollment from university

-          One (1) certified copy (legalisir) of your university transcript records from semester 1 to 3

-          One (1) copy of high school diploma (Ijazah SMU)

-          One (1) copy of high school transcript record (STTB)

-          One (1) copy of high school transcript record – national standard (NEM)

-          At least two (2) Letter of Reference from Academic Supervisor and other Faculty Member (use the attached from, and put it in a sealed envelope). Attention: please do not send the letter separately. It must be attached to the application form.

-          One (1) letter of salary amount information of your parents for the last month (slip gaji)

-          One (1) copy of family card (KK-Kartu Keluarga)

-          Original letter from the university (rectorate) which inform whether currently you are receiving other scholarship or not, and what is the universities’ regulation for students who receive a scholarship (surat keterangan sedang atau tidak mendapatkan beasiswa saat ini)

-          Original letter of notification from campus or institution that you are involved in social and student activities (surat keterangan aktif di organisasi kemahasiswaan atau sosial lainnya yang asli dicap dan ditandatangan oleh kampus atau institusi)

The PAITON Energy Indonesian Young Leaders Scholarship Program (Paiton IYLSP) adalah program beasiswa untuk mahasiswa tahap sarjana (S1) yang disponsori oleh PT. Paiton Energy dan dikelola oleh Indonesian International Education Foundation (IIEF).

Beasiswa diberikan untuk 4 semester masa perkuliahan (semester 5-8) yang meliputi dana SPP, tunjangan hidup dan tunjangan skripsi kepada mahasiswa S1 angkatan 2015 di Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Universitas Andalas (UNAND), Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Universitas Nusa Cendana (UNDANA), Universitas Palangkaraya (UPR), dan Universitas Sam Ratulangi (UNSRAT) di fakultas Ekonomi, Ilmu Komputer, MIPA, dan Teknik.


  1. WNI dan berdomisili di Indonesia;
  2. IP semester dan IPK terakhir minimal 3.00;
  3. Memiliki bakat kepemimpinan dan social entrepreneurship, aktif dalam kegiatan kemahasiswaan atau sosial kemasyarakatan lainnya;
  4. Memiliki kemampuan Bahasa Inggris yang baik;
  5. Membutuhkan bantuan keuangan;
  6. Tidak sedang menerima beasiswa dari sponsor lain.
